Barbara Dean Mercer Collinsworth

Barbara Dean Mercer Collinsworth, 85, of South Shore, KY., went to be with her Lord Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY., surrounded by her family. She was born June 16, 1934 in McRoberts, KY., a daughter of the late Dewey and Alice Mullins Mercer.
She was a Homemaker and attended the South Shore Nazarene Church.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter Susan Collinsworth Price, three brothers Alan Mercer, Allard Mercer and Dewey Lee Mercer.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Dale Arden Collinsworth, four daughters Sherry Collinsworth of South Shore, KY., Theresa Tumblson of Portsmouth, OH., Debbie Collinsworth of Greenback, TN., and Beth (Tommy) Lambert of Hillsboro, KY., two sons Dale Collinsworth JR of Madisonville, TN., and Jamie (Denise) Collinsworth of Flemingsburg, KY., three sisters JoLene (Charles) Euton of Stout, OH., Bonnie (Sam) Piatt of South Shore, KY., and Betty Wright of South Shore, KY., 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and several other family and friends who will dearly miss her.
Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the South Shore Nazarene Church 356 S.M. Roberson Drive in South Shore, KY., with Pastor David Robirds officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be at the South Shore Nazarene Church, Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
Grandsons and Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
