Beulah Faye Edgington

Beulah Faye Long Edgington, 83, of South Portsmouth, KY, passed away on September 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 19, 1934 in Burdine, KY a daughter of the late Holbrook Long and Nancy Ann Mullens Long. She was a graduate of McKell High School and Portsmouth Interstate Business College and was retired as the Postmaster of South Portsmouth Post Office with 25 years service.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Lee Edgington; one son, Richard Lee (Patricia) Edgington II also of South Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Jason Matthew (Amber) Edgington of Louisville, KY and Meghan Elizabeth (Gary) Britton of South Shore; six great grandchildren, Jordan Edgington, Jarren Edgington, Shaelynn Edgington, Cash Edgington, Jackson Bratchett and Jacob Bratchett; and one brother, Thomas Long of Sevierville, TN. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Leo Long, of Detroit, MI.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at MORTON FUNERAL HOME in South Shore, Kentucky, with Dr. Michael Rice and Sam Piatt officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM Thursday.
