Carl Todd Morton

Carl Todd Morton, 58, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at his residence in South Shore, Kentucky. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on April 4, 1968, to Judith Johnson Morton and the late Wayne E. Morton.

Todd was well known as the fourth-generation funeral director of the Morton Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky.

Left to cherish his memory, along with his mother, are his two brothers: John (Cindy) Morton of Ashland, Kentucky, and Lee (Leslie) Morton of Friendship, Ohio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who will greatly miss him.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a private memorial service will be conducted at a later date to honor and celebrate his life. At this time, he is in the care of the Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home, located in South Shore, Kentucky.
