Charles Henry Bush

Charles Henry Bush, 90, of South Shore, KY., went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 4, 2022 at SOMC under Hospice Care in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Siloam, Ky., October 5, 1931 a son of the late Carroll and Ruth Dickison Bush.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Wilma Conley Bush and one daughter Paulette Stapleton.

Charles was a 1950 McKell High School Graduate and retired from North American Refractories with 44 years service. He was a devoted Christian and an active member of Faith Baptist Church of Quincy, KY.

Left behind to cherish his memory are three daughters, Marsha (Jesse) Stapleton, Deborah (Gary) Howell both of South Shore, KY., and Audra (Jerry) Newkirk of Columbus, OH; two sons, Larry (Judy) Bush of Bethlehem, GA., and Kevin (Tammy) Bush of Latonia, KY; one sister, Mildred Osborne of Georgetown, KY; eleven grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren, ten step great-grandchildren, five step great-great- grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Pastor Tim Underwood and Elder Gary Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the funeral home.

Matthew, Michael and Garrick Howell, Joshua Quillen, Christopher Altman and Charles Stapleton will serve as pallbearers.
