Colleen Sue Taylor

Colleen S. Taylor, 84, of South Shore, KY., passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. She was born in Williamson, WV., on December 8, 1940, a daughter of the late James and Thelma Six Whittaker.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Lee Taylor; one granddaughter, Amee Jo Taylor; one son-in-law, Lee Stevens and three brothers.

Left behind to cherish her memory are one daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Stevens of South Shore, KY; three sons, Stephen (Sandy) Taylor of New Boston, OH., Mark (Lisa) Taylor of Lloyd, KY., and Tim (Karen) Taylor of West Portsmouth, OH; seven grandchildren, Tommy, Ryan, Emily, Jonathan, Faith, Nathanael and Haylen; eleven great-grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Ted Stepp officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
