Dale A. Wilkerson

Dale Wilkerson,71, of South Shore, KY., passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Ironton, OH., March 18, 1950 a son of the late David Alvin and Dorothy Moritz Wilkerson.

He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad where he was a proud member of the UTU Local 496, serving as Local Chairman and Secretary/Treasurer.  He also served our country in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Virginia Fields and father-in-law William Fields.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Sharon Fields Wilkerson; two sons, Dale (Aerika) Wilkerson JR of Columbus, OH and David (Sarah) Wilkerson of Wurtland, KY; one sister Lana Bloomfield of Portsmouth, OH and many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held 1 P.M. Monday, November 29, 2021 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Calvin Ray Evans and Brian Baer officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday from 12 P. M. until the service hour.
