Daniel Lyons

Daniel Lyons, 55, of South Shore, KY., passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Kings Daughter’s Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born September 3, 1965 in Portsmouth, OH., a son of Tony Lyons SR and the late Barbara Bell Lyons.

Left behind to cherish his memory along with his father are two children, Casey Lyons of Lexington, KY and Jean Lyons of Columbus, OH; one brother, Tony (Ginnie) Lyons JR of Mary Ester, FL; three sisters, Beverly (Tim) Walters of Garrison, KY., Diana (Tommy) Turner of Portsmouth, OH., and Sonya (Joe) Thurman of Vanceburg, KY; one special niece, Kayla Walters; one very special great-niece, Ava Tucker and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

A private memorial service will be held at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expense.
