David Budig

David Budig, 66, of South Shore, KY., passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 19, 1954 in London, OH., a son of the late Clifford and Mary Ellen Boggs Budig.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one son Jeremy Budig.

David was of Christian Faith and retired from CSX Railroad after 29 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing with his sons and close friends. Most recently he enjoyed watching his grandkids on the ballfield and basketball court. He was one of their biggest fans. 

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years Janie Budig; two sons, Craig (Kimberly) Budig of Germantown, OH and J.T. (Renee) White of Raceland, Ky; four grandchildren, Hunter Church, Aubrey Budig, Jonah White and Lilah White; one sister, Vicki (Ted) Parker of South Shore, KY and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Kevin Angel officiating. Burial will follow at Boggs Family Cemetery in Warnock, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
