Debra Gayle Wright

Debra Gayle Wright, 70, of Hermitage, TN., passed away Friday, February 7, 2025. Debra was born on May 20th, 1954, in Portsmouth, OH., the daughter of the late Millard T. Wright and Joann D. (Collier) Wright.

Debra was an editor, journalist, and vice president for the Gospel Advocate Company for 32 years, and was recently employed by the Publishing Design Company as an editor. Debra loved reading and completing jigsaw puzzles in her spare time.

Surviving is one sister, Sandra (David) Turpin, one niece Penny (David) Goble, one nephew Jed Turpin, a wonderful friend and Christian brother Phillip Tucker, and several aunts, uncles, family, and friends to carry on her memories.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 14, 2025, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. and the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Bud Collier will be officiating. Burial will follow at Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, KY
