Diana (McAllister) Sammons

Diana McAllister Sammons, 81, of South Shore, KY., passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. She was born in Portsmouth, OH., March 25, 1942 a daughter of the late William “Perk” and Margaret Johnson McAllister.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Doris Hatfield and one brother-in-law, Ron Hatfield.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Darrell Sammons who she married June 4, 1966; one daughter, Tricia Sammons of South Shore, KY., and several other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 12 P.M. Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with pastor Donny McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
