Donna Taylor Horsley

Donna Taylor Horsley, 70, of South Shore, KY died Thursday December 20, 2018 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. She was born February 29, 1948 in South Shore, a daughter of the late Carl D. Taylor and Edrie Aldridge Taylor.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Horsley and one sister, Carla McKenzie.
She was a member of Grant and Summit Church of Christ, Helping Hands Volunteer, and also cared for the elderly in our area. She was a devout Christian and lived her life for the lord. She also was an avid treasure hunter with her daughter, Cherie.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren; William Scott (Mary Ann) Skidmore and their children, Jersey and Scott of Carroll, OH; Christopher B. (Christie) Skidmore and their children, Taylor, Katie and Jack of Auburn, IN; Todd A. (Melanie) Skidmore and son Jacob of Rockbridge, OH; Cherie (Homer) Royster of Garrison, KY, and Kenton (Sherry) Horsley and daughter McKenna of Raceland, KY. One brother, Robert (Beth) Taylor of Wheelersburg, OH; one sister Betty (Boyd) Ratliff of South Shore. KY.; and brother in law, John "Red" (Faye) McKenzie of South Shore.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday December 23, 2018 at MORTON FUNERAL HOME in South Shore, KY with Mike Lemon officiating. Burial will follow at Jamison Cemetery in Garrison, KY. Visitation will be Sunday from 12 noon to 2pm at the funeral home.
