Dorothy M. (Clark) Chapman

Dorothy M. Chapman, 77, of Greenup, KY., passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at her daughters home in Greenup, KY., with her family by her side. She was born August 4, 1945 in Ironton, OH., a daughter of the late Elmer and Hazel Littlejohn Clark.

Dorothy was a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church in Greenup, KY.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Hursel Chapman; one granddaughter, Amanda Russell; one sister Shirley (Glenn) Carr; two brothers, Thomas Clark and Maurice Clark.

Left behind to Cherish her memory are two daughters, Tammy (Mark) Russell and Teresa Chapman; two sons, Todd (Rebecca) Chapman and Tim Chapman all of Greenup, KY; three brothers, Richard (Patty) Clark of New Boston, OH., Bill (Loretta) Clark of New Boston, OH., and Joe Allen of Ashland, KY; four sisters, Pat (Bob) Jarvis of Lapeer, MI., Pam (Michael) Neilson of Kansas City, MO., Ramona Ackison of Flatwoods, KY., and Lisa Allen of Wurtland, KY; ten grandchildren, Tim Chapman II, Samantha Chapman, Stephanie (Thomas) Slage, Mark (JoAnna) Russell II, Kayla Layne, Kortney (Darcy) Skinner, Kandi Whitman, Kane Chapman, Todd (Caitlin) Chapman II and Peyton (Jacob) Armstrong; twelve great-grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Cornerstone Pentecostal Church in Greenup, KY., with Rev. Thomas Slage officiating. Burial will follow at Chapman Family Cemetery in Greenup, KY. Visitation will be at the Church form 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour. Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., are caring for arrangements.
