Dorothy Rymer

Dorothy Fern Woofter Rymer, 93, of South Shore, KY., went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Cedarhurst Senior Living in Lexington, KY. She was born in Troy, WV., December 14, 1928 a daughter of the late Robert and Opal Reed Woofter.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Rymer; one sister, Annabelle Bush; two brothers, Duane Woofter, Elton Woofter and one son-in-law, Bob Carver.

Left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters Jodi (Ron) Shade of Lexington, KY and Robin Carver of South Shore, KY; four grandchildren, Jessica Doyle, Jason Shade, Bobbi Carver and Cody Carver; four great-grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Mike Fore officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the funeral home.
