Dorthy Joy Campbell

Dorthy Joy Campbell, 89, of South Shore, KY., went to be with her Lord Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Hillview Retirement in Portsmouth, OH. She was born August 8, 1933 in Frost, KY a daughter of the late William Lee and Ida Mae Dowdy Jackson.

Dorthy was a member of Sunshine United Methodist Church in South Shore, KY., and was a retired bookkeeper from Oberling’s.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Douglas Campbell; second husband, Fred Miller and twelve brothers and sisters.

Left behind to cherish her memory are one daughter, Sheila (John “Poog”) Nevison; one son, Mark (Kim) Campbell; one granddaughter, Haley (Brayan) Garcia; one grandson, Mark Anthony (Sarah) Campbell; one great grandson, Henry Mark Campbell and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Pastor Kenny Fox officiating. Burial will follow at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday at the funeral home from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M.
