Edward Victor McGuire

Edward Victor McGuire, 86, of Ashland, KY., passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at U.K. Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born in South Shore, KY., March 29, 1937 a son of the late Edward and Dorothy Lybrook McGuire.

Victor was a United States Army Veteran and retired from General Motors.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Keith McGuire; one daughter, Angela McGuire and one brother, Don McGuire.

Left behind to cherish his memory are three daughters, Lisa McGuire of Ashland, KY., Greta Shafer of MI., and Jessica McGuire of Minford, OH; Ex-Wife Juanita McGuire; two sisters, Joan Hunt, and Judy Reinecke; one brother, Phillip McGuire; six grandchildren, Matthew Bonham, Chayton Bonham, Braxton Abrams, Conner Abrams, Dalton Baker, Devon Rice and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be Monday 1 P.M. April 10, 2023 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Pastor Shane Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
