Ethel Lean Scott

Ethel Lean (Worrix) Scott, 82, of South Shore, KY., passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at her residence. Ethel was born on April 16, 1937 a daughter of the late Julius and Louvina (Thacker) Worrix in Pike County, KY.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband and father of her children David Scott Sr., three brothers Julius, Bill and John two sisters Rebecca Collins and Betty Maynard.
Ethel is survived by her children David Scott Jr, (Lindsay) of Mount Washington, KY., Louvina Duncan (Tim) of South Shore, KY., and Matthew Scott of Chillicothe, OH., two sisters Bethel Coleman of Pikeville, KY., and Josie Thacker of Lorian, OH. Her grandchildren Billy (Haley) Duncan and Staci Duncan both of South Shore, KY., Emily Scott of Chatsworth, GA., Great Grandchild Noah Sissel Duncan of South Shore, KY., also Lee and Sarah Smith of Chillicothe, OH., whom she loved as her own and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Ethel will be remembered of an exceptional mother who always put the needs of her children above her own and a loving grandmother.
Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Friday, May 3, 2019 at the MORTON FUNERAL HOME in South Shore, KY., with Brother Charles Mallory officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Friday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
