Isaac Potter Obituary

Isaac Wade Potter, 84, of South Shore, KY., passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. He was born October 13, 1936 in Lynn, KY., a son of the late Isaac Sherman and Gladys Johnson Potter.

Wade was retired from CSX railroad. He loved to Mushroom Hunt, Fish and most of all Farming.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Jimmie Dale “Buddy” Potter; one sister, Phyllis Spears; one great granddaughter, Sady Holbrook and one daughter-in-law, Tammy Potter.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years Mary Ann Lyons Potter three daughters, Teresa Spradlin, Wadeana (Jeff) Holbrook and Suzan (Paul) Osborne all of South Shore, KY; two sons, Greg Potter and Tim (Lisa) Potter both of South Shore, KY; one brother, Kenneth Roger Potter of OH; one sister, Mary Ann Traylor of Lloyd, KY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Due to the pandemic the family will have a private funeral service at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with George Gravely officiating. Burial will follow at Sady Raelynn Holbrook Cemetery in South Shore, KY.
