James Clevo Lacey Sr., 80 of South Shore, KY., went to be with his Lord Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Ashland Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. He was born in Portsmouth, OH., December 21, 1940 a son of the late Henry and Edna Yates Lacey.
James was a retired Truck Driver out of Teamsters Local 957. He attended the Nazarene Church in South Shore, KY, his passion was singing and bowling.
Along with his parent he is preceded in death by one daughter Gloria Jones; one daughter in law, Stephanie Lacey; six brothers, Paul, Raymond, Jerry, David, Edward and Harold Lacey.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Judy Brown Lacey; one daughter, Bonnie (John) Walters; two sons, James Lacey Jr and Jerry (Phyllis) Lacey; step children, Loren and Joe (Jennifer) Sneed; four brothers, Don (Lynn) Lacey, Jack (Connie) Lacey, Steve (Judy) Lacey and Everett (Janet) Lacey. Along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Monday, May 3, 2021 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with David Robirds officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 11 A.M. until the service hour. A private family burial will be Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Willow View Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
