James Shepherd

JAMES M. SHEPHERD, 58, of Portsmouth, Ohio died Saturday July 30, 2016 at
Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born November 21, 1957 in Portsmouth, OH to
Hazel Eggers Shepherd and the late James H. Shepherd.
He was a longtime employee of G&J Pepsi-Cola in Franklin Furnace, OH., a 1976
graduate of East High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cindy Bailey Shepherd; a
son, Nickolas (Lucretia) Shepherd of Minford, OH; daughter, Katie (Joey)
Shepherd-May of Portsmouth, OH; stepdaughter, Rebecca Entler; stepson, Chris
Entler; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Mona Shepherd; a brother, Alan Shepherd and
a niece, Brandi Sparks.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday August 3, 2016 at MORTON
FUNERAL HOME in South Shore, KY. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery in South
Shore, with military graveside rites by James Dickey American Legion Post 23.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
