Jean Ryan

Jean D. Jenkins Rollins Ryan, 89, of Portsmouth, OH., passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 at Rosemount Pavilion in Portsmouth, OH. She was born January 19, 1933 in Portsmouth, OH., a daughter of the late William L. Burke and Myrtle M. Jenkins.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her divorced husband Homer W. Rollins and husband, W. Gordon Ryan.

Jean was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and retired from Department of Defense Naval Hospital in Camp Lejeune, NC.

Surviving are one daughter, Jacqueline Hall of Montgomery, AL; two grandsons, Jason (Alexandria) Hall and Jared (Sarah) Hall both of AL; one granddaughter, Jamie (Hector) Cotto of NC; five great-grandsons and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Graveside services will be 2 P.M. Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott, OH., with Bishop Eric Walsh officiating. Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., are caring for arrangements.
