John Charles Click

John Charles Click, 48, a long-time resident of South Portsmouth Ky., passed away February 12, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Ky. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on March 21, 1976, a son of the late Lon and Mary Sue Click.

John made his proclamation of faith and was baptized at the South Shore First Christian Church. John was currently employed by Fidelity Investments – Corporate Office in Covington, Ky.

John was a graduate of Greenup County High School; he earned his bachelor’s degrees from both Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati and earned a master’s degree from Marshall University. John was an avid University of Kentucky sports fan, especially basketball.

John was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Lonnie Click and Mary Sue (Filer) Click, and younger brother William David Click.

Left behind to cherish his memory are Uncle Don (Nancy) Filer, Aunt Mary Click Plummer, Aunt Debbie Click Botting, Uncle Dell (Vickie) Click, and many cousins, friends and his dog Sadie who will all sadly miss him.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:30 at the South Shore First Christian Church, 21 Church Street, South Shore, KY 41175 for all family members and friends.
