John F. Eastley, 67, of Greenup, KY, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on May 9, 1958, a son of the late John Eastley and Catherine Conner Eastley.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Paula Hieneman Eastley; step-son, Craig Hieneman; one sister, Wendy Craig; one brother, Glenn Eastley; and one brother-in-law, Bill Hayden.
Left behind to cherish his memory are one brother, Patrick Eastley; two sisters, Mary (Dana) Stephens and Eileen (Bob) Vogel; one brother-in-law, Chuck (Linda) Hieneman; two sisters-in-law, Regina Hayden and Angela Eastley; nephew & caretaker, Chris Hieneman; nephew, with whom he enjoyed watching football with, Charlie Hayden; and several other nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Mike Dennis officiating. A private burial will be at Hieneman Cemetery in Greenup, KY, at a later date. Visitation for the family and friends will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 1 P.M. until the funeral hour.
