John Welch

John Lewis Welch, 74, of New Boston, OH., passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Portsmouth, OH., March 22, 1949 a son of the late Harlan and Monna Dillow Welch.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Welch and Barbara Sue Welch.

Left behind to cherish his memory are one daughter, Jennifer Welch of Ironton, OH; one grandson, Andrew Welch of Ironton, OH., and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

At John’s request there will be a private memorial service held at a later date. Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., are caring for arrangements.
