Johnathan Ray Kegley

Johnathan Ray Kegley, 68, of Portsmouth, OH., passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Portsmouth, OH., February 6, 1953. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Kegley, and his grandfather, Roy Kegley, whom he called Paw.

Johnathan is also preceded in death by one brother Brent Kegley.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years Gail Pauley Kegley; one sister, Doreen Riffe of Wheelersburg, two daughters, Tammi (Roy Phipps) Pauley of Portsmouth, OH., and Pam (Matt) Steele of Westerville, OH; four grandchildren, Carlton, Joey, Caitlyn and Ethan; seven great-grandchildren; one BFF Tawanna Gallagher and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral Services will be 3 P.M. Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with  Alex  Van Dromme  officiating.  Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Sunday from 1P.M. until the funeral hour at 3 P.M. 

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
