Obituary
Juanita Bays Carr, 92, of Wurtland, KY., passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Woodland Oaks Nursing Home in Ashland, KY. She was born in Greenup, KY., October 30, 1930 a daughter of the late Floyd and Ethyl Boggs Bays.
She was a member of the Greenup Wesleyan Church in Greenup, KY., and retired from Clovis-Hurt Chevrolet in Greenup, KY.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Charles Carr JR and one daughter, Deborah Carr.
Left behind to cherish her memory are one son, Tony Carr and his wife Amy of Wurtland, KY; three grandchildren, Krissie (Nathan) Bentley of Lexington, KY., Nick (Kaylee) Carr of Wurtland, KY., and Zak (Rachel) Carr of Lawerance, KS; six great-grandchildren, Ella Carr, Evie Carr, Isabelle Carr, Julian Carr, Nora Carr and Max Carr. Along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Dr. Tom Melvin officiating. Burial will follow at Quillen Cemetery in Greenup, KY. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M.
