Kathy L. (Howell) Warnock

Kathy Lee Howell Warnock, 60, of South Shore, KY., took her heavenly flight Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. She was born in Portsmouth, OH., April 2, 1962 a daughter of Norma Munn Howell of South Shore, KY., and the late Paul Howell SR.

Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herman and Irene Smith Munn Anthis; paternal grandparents, Lester and Odessa Howell; and one sister-in-law Donna Howell.

To know Kathy was to love her. She was well known from McDonald Pharmacy, where she retired in 2014 as always having a smile. She loved her job and always said Bill Bentley was the best boss she ever had; his family was her family. She was a people person and enjoyed talking to everyone. She loved her family with all of her heart. She instilled a hard work ethic and values that will live on through her son and daughter-in-law.

Left behind to cherish her memory along with her mother are her husband of 25 years Gary Warnock; one son, her pride & joy Paul Raymond Lacy and his wife Misty Lacy; one step son, Kasey Warnock of Greenup, KY; mother-in-law, Roma Ellis of New Boston, OH; three brothers, Ed Howell of South Shore, KY., Robert (Wanda) Howell of McArthur, OH., and Ronald (Flo) Howell of South Shore, KY. Eight children who she thought of as her grandkids, Kase, Lynnley, Isabella, Mariah, Connor, Weston, Andi and Brantley; along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Monday, January 30, 2023 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Bryan Davis and Terry Longmire officiating. Burial will follow at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. at the funeral home.
