Obituary

Larry David Book, 74, of Portsmouth, OH., passed away Saturday, February 19,

2022 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in

Portsmouth, OH., May 17, 1947 a son of the late William and Helen Kitchen Lowe.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Paulita Defoe Book;

three brothers, Keith Lowe, Bill Pat Lowe and Ronnie Howard; two sisters, Shirley

Lowe and Debra Howard.

Larry was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

Left behind to cherish his memory are one son, Thomas (Megan) Book of

Fairborn, OH; one daughter, April Nelson of Zanesville, OH; two sisters, Linda(Eric)

Kvant of Troy, OH and Sharon Fultz(Jeffrey) of Middleburg, FL; two brothers,

Richard (Teresa) Book of Wheelersburg, OH and Greg(Vickie) Howard of Grayson,

KY; four granddaughters, Kailyn Hackworth, Alexandria Hackworth, Kendra

Hackworth and Shyanne Patterson. Along with several other family and friends

who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Morton-Hunt Family

Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Greg Howard officiating. Burial will follow

at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Wheelersburg, OH. Visitation will be Thursday,

February 24, 2022 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home and from 12 P.M

until the service hour on Friday.
