Linda Jeanette Ratliff

LINDA JEANETTE HOWERTON RATLIFF, 66, of South Shore, KY passed away on Sunday
June 11, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends while under the
compassionate and expert care of the staff at SOMC Hospice Care Center in
Portsmouth, Ohio.
Linda was born July 17, 1950 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of Dorothy Wagner
Howerton of South Shore, KY and the late John R. Howerton.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Michael Ratliff of South Shore. They
celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on May 5, 2017; one son, Randy
(Stacey) Ratliff of Waverly, Ohio; one daughter, Lori (Shawn) Brown of South
Portsmouth, KY; one sister, Patricia Jacobs of South Shore, KY; grandchildren,
Taylor Brown, Alyssa Ratliff and Hannah Ratliff; nieces and nephews, Jennifer
Webster, Emily Beckman, Adam Jacobs, Matthew Jacobs and Avery Beckman; and her 4
footed protector "Sam".
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Randall Scott Ratliff Jr.
Linda loved the people she worked for as the Managing Agent of Holley Manor
Apartments in South Shore for the last 15 years.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday June 14, 2017 at MORTON
FUNERAL HOME in South Shore with Ben Collier officiating. Burial
will follow in Greene Cemetery in St. Paul, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday
from 10am to noon.
