Lou Ella May Eves, age 89 of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024, at Portsmouth Health and Rehab in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born December 12, 1934, in Holden, West Virginia to Clifford and Lou Edra Lewis May.
Lou Ella is survived by her grandson James E. Eves, daughter-in-law Debra Sue Eves, sister Marcella Scott, two special nephews, Michael (Nancy) Scott and Mark Scott, great niece Baleigh Long, and many other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Gerald (Jerry) Eves, son David J. Eves, and three brothers Bob May, Bill May, and Jerry May.
Lou Ella was a member of the Sandhill Church of Christ. She was a true fan of the University of Kentucky Basketball, and Cincinnati Reds Baseball, and loved to ride horses.
Graveside services will be at 1 P.M. Friday, November 15, 2024, at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky, with Brother Don Seavers officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY.
