Margaret McAllister

MARGARET J. McALLISTER, 96, of South Shore, Kentucky died Friday December 8,
2017 at her residence.
She was born January 9, 1921 in South Shore, a daughter of the late Robert
Johnson and Doris Davis Johnson.
She was a former Postmaster of the United States Postal Service in South Shore,
KY.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William
"Perk" McAllister; brother, Robert Johnson and brother-in-law Wayne E. Morton.
Marg leaves behind two daughters; Diana (Darrell) Sammons of South Shore and
Doris (Ronald) Hatfield of South Shore; One sister, Judy Morton of South Shore;
Grandchildren, Tricia Sammons of South Shore, Ryan (Stephanie) Hatfield of
Lexington, KY, Kyle Hatfield of South Shore and Zachary Hatfield of Lexington,
KY; great grandchildren, Taylor, Sawyer and Regan Hatfield.
Private family funeral services were held on Sunday December 10, 2017 at Siloam
Cemetery in South Shore, with Darrell Stephenson officiating. Arrangements were
under the direction of MORTON FUNERAL HOME in South Shore.
