Mary Jane (Whitlock) Clark

Mary Jane Whitlock Clark, 79, of South Portsmouth, KY., went to be with her Lord Friday, January 12, 2024 at Ashland Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. She was born May 9, 1944 in Auxier, KY., a daughter of the late Chester and Janivea Daniels Whitlock.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Wright and one brother, Russell Whitlock.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 24 years Roger Clark; three sons, Ken (Mary) Carter of Catlettsburg, KY., Roger (Melanie) Clark JR of South Shore, KY., and Eric (Kim) Clark of South Shore, KY; one daughter, Rebecca Mcquithy of St. Paul, KY; one sister Arlene Little of Ashland, KY; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Crad Frye and Carl Distel officiating. Burial will follow at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M.
