Matthew Carson "Bub" Little

Matthew Carson “Bub” Little, 35, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on December 2, 1989, to Donna Sue (Reese) Little and the late Sonny Carson Little.

Bub was an enthusiastic gun and coin collector who loved gunsmithing. He worked at Clarks Pump-n-Shop for several years and was cherished by his colleagues and friends there.

Along with his mother, he is survived by two sisters: Karrie Ann Little of Raceland, Kentucky, and Sonja Renee (Bruce Holland) Little of Portsmouth, Ohio. He also leaves behind five nieces: Esme Grace Griffith, Emma Felicity Jade Holland, Sharda Little, Dezaray Bailey, and Deedra Little, as well as four great-nieces and one great-nephew. Additionally, he is remembered by a special friend, Connita “Salty” Moore.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at a later date. Bub is under the care of the Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky.
