Millie A. (Bentley) Burke

Millie A. Bentley Burke, 86 of Greenup, KY., went to be with her Lord Saturday July 3, 2021 at Ashland Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. She was born September 13, 1934 in Letcher County, KY., a daughter of the late Benjamin and Lola Mae Lark Bentley.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Tobias “Toby” Burke SR; one son, Greogory Burke; two brothers and one sister.

Left behind to cherish her memory are one daughter, Charlotte Burke of Greenup, KY; four sons, Toby (Mary Lamson) Burke JR of Kent City, MI, Geoffrey Burke of Portland, OR, David Burke of Louisville, KY and Brian (Tanya) Burke of Middletown, OH; eleven grandchildren, Peter, Sarah, Toni, Stephanie, Hailey, Andrew, Megan, Sean, Alex, Brian JR and Alyssa; ten great-grandchildren with another one arriving in August; two great-great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Rusty Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the funeral home from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Friday.
