Milton “Buttercup” Hamilton, 82, of South Shore, KY., passed away at his residence surrounded by his family and friends, Thursday, September 16, 2021. He was born December 14, 1938 in South Shore, KY., to the late Albert and Myrtle Sheets Hamilton.
Milton is retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and knife making.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Robinson Hamilton along with six children, Terry Hamilton of South Shore, KY., Tammy Hamilton Bentley of Jackson, NJ., Kimberly Hamilton McClurg of Portsmouth, OH., Ben Thomas of Argillite, KY., Kevin Thomas of Wurtland, KY., and Karen Thomas Gilliam of South Shore, KY. He is also survived by one sister, Juanita Hamilton Lee of Portsmouth, OH., eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Clarence and Paul Hamilton; two sisters Betty Lybrooks and Dora Trailor.
