Mollie Louise Phillips, 75, of South Shore, KY died Saturday August 11, 2018 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.
She was born September 21, 1942 in Maloneton, KY a daughter of the late Hobert Burke and Myrtle Potter Burke.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Edward Phillips, whom she married March 21, 1959.
Four daughters, Marcia (Rick) Layne of Athens, Alabama; Sonya Phillips of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; Angela (Mark) Dunaway of Daphne, Alabama; and Rhonda (Tony) Matzke of DePere, Wisconsin. Siblings; Loretta Blair, Betty (Jack) Goldman, Bill Burke, Richard Burke, Ellen (Jerry) Howerton, Hobie (Rita) Burke, Bob (Angie) Burke and Michael (Patricia) Burke. Grandchildren; Tiffany (Derik) Sizemore, Jonathon Dunaway, Matthew Matzke, Kristen Dunaway and Dillon Matzke. Great grandchildren; Connor and Quentin Sizemore.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings; Jim Burke and Dorothy Burke.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday August 14, 2018 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Grayson, KY.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Community Hospice, 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101.
