Ola Mae Mercer

Ola Mae Mercer (nee Buckner), age 89 of Mentor On The Lake, passed away May 10th, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Wesleyville, Kentucky to the late Walter and Sarah Buckner.

Ola Mae was a retired Licensed Leasing Consultant for Goldberg Companies where she worked for over 30 years. She was a proud member of Life Point Church in Mentor where she was devoted to The Lord.  She loved traveling, cooking, gospel and country music, and being with her family.

Ola Mae was the loving wife of the late Allard L. Mercer; dearest mother of Brenda Cerutti, Jeffrey (Denise) Mercer, Randall Mercer and Roseanne (Paul) Martin; beloved grandmother of Lori (John Hanko) Cerutti, Cheri Cerutti-Wild, Melissa (Axel) Arindell, Danielle Mercer-Sanchez, Brandon (Christina) Mercer, Tara and Emily Mercer, Paula and Dwayne Martin; great grandmother of Dylan, Trevor, Jonathan, Sarah, Alexis, Tysen, Koby, Josslyn, Zuree, Geoffrey, Kaileigh, Aiden and Della; great great grandmother of Jonny and Macklin; sister of the late Helena Anderson.

The Mercer family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, May 12th, 2022 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Graveside services will take place at 11:00 AM Saturday at Sunset Cemetery in Quincy, Kentucky with Dale Collinsworth officiating. Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky are caring for local arrangements.
