PATRICIA SMITH, 82

Patricia K. (Patty) Stone Smith, 82, of South Shore, KY passed away Friday
December 29, 2017 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born March 16, 1935 in South Shore, KY a daughter of the late Ed and
Anna K. Bentley Stone. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by
four sisters-in-law; Joyce Stone, Cookie Stone, Debbie Stone and Sylvia Stone.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles E. Smith whom she married
July 9, 1955. Two sisters; Judy (Bill) Riggs of Firebrick, KY and Gussie
McKinzie of North Carolina. Four brothers; Kermit Stone and Jimmy Stone of South
Shore, KY, Ronnie Stone of Ashland, KY, and Roy Stone of Pittsburgh, PA.
Patricia worked for Williams Shoe Factory and Kresges Five and Dime in
Portsmouth, Ohio.
Family funeral services were held Saturday December 30, 2017 at Morton Funeral
Home in South Shore, KY with minister Bill Riggs officiating. Burial was in
Greene Cemetery in St. Paul, KY.
