Paul Brown Obituary

Paul Edward Brown, 58, of South Shore, KY., passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at King’s Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born September 19, 1963 in Ashland, KY., a son of the late James R. Brown and Fronia Mae Bentley Brown.

Paul was a graduate of Greenup County High School (1981). He later attended Morehead State University and went on to serve in the U.S Army. Like his father before him, Paul was an avid sports fan, especially for University of Kentucky basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. He loved spending time with Alma, being outdoors, caring for his dogs, taking long walks and fishing. But more than anything, Paul loved his family, friends and his community. He was a gentle spirit with a generous soul. He met everyone with a smile.

Along with his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his sister, Shelley Brown Ewing.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved companion and partner in life, Alma Lou Blair; one brother, Barry (Missy) Brown of South Shore, KY; one sister, Linda (James H.) Brown Painter of Santa Fe, NM; two nieces, Emily (Jason) VanBibber and Becca Brown; two nephews, Sam Ewing and Joe Ewing; brother-in-law, Bill Ewing and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends who will sadly miss him.

There will be a Celebration of Life for family members at a later date.
