Paul Howard Terry

PAUL HOWARD TERRY, 82, of South Shore, KY passed away Tuesday October 18, 2016
at his residence. He was born February 10, 1934 in Maloneton, KY a son of the
late George Terry and Chloe Alexander Terry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley
Terry and Harlan Terry; sisters, Helen Keckley, Roberta Nickel, Lorena Johnson
and Loretta Fugate; and a daughter-in-law, Alfreda Fraley Terry.
He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Thelma Isabelle Branham Terry; three
sons, Stanley Terry of Garrison, KY, Phillip (Tina) Terry of Wheelersburg, OH
and Kent (Kimberly) Terry of Burlington, KY; grandchildren, Michael Terry, Lacy
Dotson Terry, Rachael Terry, Alex Terry and Lauren Terry; great-grandchildren,
MyKayla Terry and MyLeah Terry; a sister, Patricia Warner of Lexington, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Paul retired from North American Refractories after 32 years. He was a Kentucky
Colonel and Deacon of Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church of Sunshine, KY. He was a
1952 graduate of McKell High School. He enjoyed wood working, building and
carpentry.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday October 20, 2016 at MORTON FUNERAL
HOME in South Shore, KY, with Mike Dowdy and Bill Oaks officiating. Burial will
be in Siloam Cemetery in South Shore. Visitation will be Thursday from 11am to
1pm.
