Raymond Doug Nolte

Raymond Doug Nolte, 85 of South Shore, KY., went to be with the Lord on Easter Day March 31, 2024 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Pikeville, KY., August 21, 1938 a son of the late Ben and Susie Langley Nolte.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter, Dottie Nolte; two brothers, Ben Nolte and Ed Nolte.

Doug was an Air Force Veteran, Enjoyed Golfing, Woodworking, his Church and being with his family. He retired from General Electric Aircraft Division in Peebles, OH.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Judy Vallance Nolte; one daughter, Cathy (Aaron Withrow) Grimes ; one granddaughter, Raegan Grimes; one grandson, Noah Grimes and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Rev. Bob Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Russell, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the funeral home from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Thursday.
