Robert "Bob" Spriggs

Robert “Bob” Michael Spriggs, 69, of South Shore, KY completed his journey on Earth and was ushered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Friday, June the 4th of 2021 surrounded by his family at home with Hospice Care.  He was born August 27, 1951 in Portsmouth, OH, a son of the late Ray and Lueda (Dodridge) Spriggs, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Spriggs.  Bob was a graduate of McKell High School class of 1969.   

On May 19th of 1979 he was united in marriage to his beloved wife of 42 years, Carol (Bias) Spriggs. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol, a son, Mike (Diana) Spriggs of Fort Pierce, FL, a daughter Shauna (Andy) Brillhart of Huntington, WV, and a daughter Acynda Spriggs of South Shore, KY, a brother Sam (Patti) Spriggs of Kokomo, IN, two granddaughters: Riley Brillhart and Charlotte Spriggs, two grandsons Trey and Ryder Spriggs. 

Bob was a cherished son, brother, husband, father, uncle, father-in-law, paw, cousin, and friend.  He was a member of the Life Point Church in Portsmouth, OH.  He was a retired engineer from the Northfolk Southern railway with 40 years of service.  He enjoyed golfing, gardening, fishing, playing games, and spending time with his family.     

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Monday, June 7, 2021 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Pastor Darrell Nickles officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Monday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1 P.M.
