Rodney F. Hunt

Rodney Hunt, 52, of South Shore, KY, died September 6th, 2020, at his home.

Rodney was born February 3rd, 1968 in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Florence Hunt and the late Vallace Rowe (who tragically died before Rodney’s birth).

Along with his father Rodney is preceded in death by his grandfather, Hubert Worthington, and his beloved grandmother, Sophia Hunt.

Rodney enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with family and friends. Rodney loved making others feel special by being genuinely interested in them. Rodney cared about people and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his mother, Florence Hunt of South Shore; two brothers, Bruce (Jamie) Hunt and Travis Hunt; his son, Vallace ( Whitney)Hunt; three grandchildren, Harper, Haven, Hyland; a niece, Iralyn Hunt; two nephews, Kolby and Carter Hunt; and a special friend, Teresa Fitzpatrick; along with many close cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 6 P.M. Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY with Bob Thompson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 4 P.M. until the funeral hour.
