Roger Bloomfield

Roger L. Bloomfield, 73, of Wheelersburg, OH, formerly of South Shore, KY, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Portsmouth Health & Rehab in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Garrison, KY, on June 22, 1952, a son of the late James and Emma Bloomfield.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Beesler Bloomfield; four brothers, David, Charles, Kenneth, and Eugene Bloomfield; two sisters, Betty Wells and Faye Pruitt.

Left behind to cherish his memory are one daughter, Rebecca Bloomfield of Ashland, KY; one son, Jeremy Bloomfield of Columbus, OH; and a special daughter, Shelia (Randy) Howard; niece, Lori (Dearl) Woods; nephew, Darren Wells; one grandchild, and several other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Graveside services will be 11 A.M. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Waring Cemetery in Garrison, KY, with Donny McKenzie officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, from 10 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
