Ronnie Edward Stone

Ronnie Edward Stone, 88 of Bellefonte, KY., passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods, KY. He was born in Fullerton, KY., on Oct 2, 1936, a son of the late Ed and Anna (Bentley) Stone.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife of 46 years, Donna Joyce Stone, three brothers, Roy, Kermit, and Jimmy Stone, and two sisters, Patty Smith and Augusta “Gussy” Kinsey.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 17 years Sharon Lynn (Runyon) Stone; three sons, Shane (Lottie) Blankenship, and Michael (Andrea) Stone,  both of South Shore, KY., Steven Duley of Louisville, KY., five daughters, Donna Sue (David) Whaley of Ashland, KY., Ronni (Alicia) Panos of West Palm Beach, FL., Tammy Stone of Portsmouth, OH., Alicia Runyon Jones of Thompson Station, TN., and Lori (Duley) Kubach of Boca Raton, FL. Additionally, he leaves behind eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one sister Judy Riggs of Garrison, KY., and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 30, 2024, at Morton-Hunt Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Chad Haggard officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
