Ruth Boggs

Ruth Boggs, 88, of Load, KY passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Greenup, KY. She was born January 25, 1931 a daughter of the late Tom and Anna Marshall Stephens.
Ruth was a Kentucky Colonel, an avid Greenup County Football fan, enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Boggs whom passed away in 2012, one daughter, Gail Meadows; three brothers, Arthur Stephens, Lester Stephens and Jimmy Stephens; three sisters, Dorothy Adkins, Mickey Meyers and Patty Stephens.
Left behind to cherish her memory are one son, Gregory (Tina) Boggs of Greenup, KY; one brother, Johnny (Linda) Stephens of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Bill) Brown, Anna Collister, Marsha (Jason) Akers and Zachary Meadows; four great-grandchildren Judd Hensley, Georgia Collister, Eloise Akers, Andy Akers and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2019 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY. Burial will follow at Quillen Cemetery in Greenup, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, December 27, 2019 from 12 P.M. until the funeral hour at 1 P.M.
