Shirley (Hall) Brown

Shirley Hall Brown, 83, of Lloyd, KY., went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, April 13, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Greenup, KY., August 11, 1940 a daughter of the late Day and Amy Bear Hall.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Jeffery David Brown; three brothers, Matt Hall, Troy Hall and Billy Hall; five sisters, Bonnie Hampton, Brenda Swayne, and three that died in infancy.

Shirley Loved spending time with her family and loved them all very much. Above all she loved being a mother and a mamaw.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Shelby Brown; one daughter, Lisa (Brian) Gammon of Franklin Furnace, OH; three grandchildren, Jaid Gampp, Austin (Abbie) Brown and Tyler Gammon; one great grandson, Boone Shelby Brown; one brother, Virgil Hall; three sisters, Joyce (Bill) Bryant, Wanda (Jim Hardy) Daniels and Phyllis O’Dell.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Roger Wireman officiating. Burial will follow at Grizzle Cemetery in Garrison, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the funeral home from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Thursday.
