Terry Hamilton

Terry Hamilton, 66, of South Shore, KY, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born in Portsmouth, OH, on December 2, 1959, a son of the late Milton “Buttercup” Hamilton and Wanda Pierce Hamilton.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Roberta Cooley Hamilton; two sons, Nathan (Arwen) Hamilton of Richmond, KY, and Robert (Tiffany) Coyle of Catlettsburg, KY; two daughters, Amy (Daniel) Merrill of Candler, NC, and Deanna McCallister of New Boston, OH; nine grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Hunter, Michael, Alysa, Alyah, Kristopher, Kaleb and Kaylee; one special great-granddaughter, Raelynn; two sisters, Tammy (Buddy) Bentley of South Portsmouth, KY, and Kimberly McClurg of Rosemount, OH; step-mother, Diana Hamilton, along with several other nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be at 7 P.M. Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Bob Thompson officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M.
