Tonny Lee Pettry

Tonny L. Pettry, 71, of South Shore, KY., passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Mullens, WV., November 14, 1952 a son of the late Layton Pettry SR and Virginia Saddlewhite Pettry.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Layton Pettry JR.

Left behind to cherish his memory are is wife of 45 years Brookie Jane Justice Pettry; four children, Ruth (Chris) Ellen of South Shore, KY., Kim (James) Combs of Delaware, OH., Donny Hall of Portsmouth, OH., and Michael Waller of Delaware, OH; one sister, Shirley Pettry; two brothers, Michael Pettry and Terry Pettry; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral Services will be 12 P.M. Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Tina Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, November 1, 2024 at the funeral home from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Saturday.
