Virginia Wilburn

Virginia Sue Wilburn, 59, of South Shore, Ky., passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. She was born in Ashland, KY., December 19, 1965, a daughter of the late Albert and Hester Riffe Wilburn.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, Eddie Wilburn, Michael Wilburn and Albert Wilburn.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years Raymond Wilburn; two daughters, Connie Wilburn and Melissa Wilburn; two sons, Raymond Wilburn and Shon Wilburn; four sisters, Nina Wilburn, Elaine Barker, Maudie McFarland and Deanna Palmer; four brothers, Russell Wilburn, Silas Wilburn, Jesse Wilburn and Chester Wilburn; along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 12 P.M. Monday, May 26, 2025, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Jeff Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until the funeral hour.
