Wanda Faye Nichols

Wanda Faye Nichols, 91 years young, was found unresponsive on Saturday, June 24, in her home at Sonata Assisted Living in Boynton Beach, FL. "A peaceful passing for a beautiful angel loved by so many." Wanda was the loving mother and special friend to her daughter, Patricia Beauvais and her husband, Kenneth.

Wanda was born and raised in Siloam, KY with her sister and life-long best friend, Angie (Alkire). They were the daughters of Gladys (Newberry) and James Corbett Martin. Family farming brought them to Ohio and her marriage to Farris Moore, the father to her daughter. Work transfers brought her to Illinois and her second husband, John Nichols. She owned and operated a beauty shop for many years. Later years brought her back to Columbus, OH and many of her most special memories of her sister living close by and times with the Card Club girls. Many WoodBrook Circle neighbors will be saddened by the news. She came to Florida (Sonata) near to her daughter and husband in December, 2017. She touched so many people and was loved by all the Sonata staff and residents and will be truly missed.

It is very humbling to see in these times, such special selflessness from so many family members that are coming from all over the country to show their last respects and to give support. We are so appreciative and so truly blessed!

The Visitation will begin at 11:00 am followed by a 12:00 noon Service on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. A casual lunch will be provided in a private room following the Service.

Burial site final goodbyes at 10:00 am on July 12, 2023 at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home are caring for graveside services, 311 James E. Hannah Dr., South Shore, KY 41175 606-932-3512
